In my high school, during a critical verbal exam, my examiner asks me one question (and it is not related Biology at all; sorry, the context is, the verbal examination was for Biology), “What is the meaning of your name?”. Back then, I had recited the this particular character of Shakespeare’s so many times, that I could say in this in my sleep. But, she said that she actually asking just the meaning of your name? Honestly, I was embarrassed, I knew the origin of the name, but not really the meaning. So, my answer was, someday, I will find the actual meaning of my name.
Today, after a little research, found out true (not just one, two of them) meaning. In Latin, my name means “Offering to God”, and in Greek “Goddess of Justice” (a more popular version, I suppose). The strange part, there are only handful of people who can pronounce my name correctly. 😀
